The Crimson Tide's defense was particularly noteworthy, contributing significantly to the shutout against a formidable Missouri team. The defense tallied three interceptions and one sack, underscoring their ability to disrupt Missouri's offensive efforts effectively. Malachi Moore made a significant impact with an interception returned for 31 yards and a pass defended, showcasing his defensive prowess in crucial moments.


Offensive Contributions


On offense, Alabama demonstrated versatility and depth in their attack. Jalen Milroe led as quarterback with 215 passing yards and maintained a completion percentage of 62 percent without throwing any interceptions. The rushing game was equally impressive with a total of 271 yards on the ground; Justice Haynes stood out by rushing for 79 yards on eight attempts and scoring one touchdown from a notable 35-yard run.


Special teams also played a pivotal role in Alabama’s comprehensive victory. Graham Nicholson successfully converted two field goals with his longest being from 47 yards out, contributing six points to the overall scoreline.
