Alabama Crimson Tide Dominates at Tiger Stadium, Outplays LSU Tigers in Key SEC Matchup

In a pivotal Week 11 SEC showdown, the Alabama Crimson Tide improved their season record to 7-2 with a commanding victory over the LSU Tigers, who fell to 6-3. The final score stood at 42-13 in favor of the visiting team.

Game Highlights


The Crimson Tide's offense was unstoppable, amassing a total of 420 yards with an impressive average gain per play. Jalen Milroe, Alabama's quarterback, led the charge with 109 passing yards and an astonishing performance on the ground, rushing for 185 yards and scoring four touchdowns. His longest run stretched for 72 yards, showcasing his dual-threat capability.


Alabama's defense also made significant contributions to the win. They recorded two sacks and four tackles for loss while limiting LSU to just 13 points. Jihaad Campbell stood out on defense with six tackles, one forced fumble, and contributed significantly to one of those sacks.


Special teams played their part as well; James Burnip punted twice inside the LSU Tigers' 20-yard line ensuring that Alabama maintained field position advantage throughout much of the game.


Key Players Performances


Several players had noteworthy performances that contributed directly to Alabama's success. Richard Young added another dimension to Alabama’s running game with his agility leading him into the end zone once among his six attempts totaling twenty-seven rushing yards. Justice Haynes also found paydirt once on eight carries contributing twenty-three crucial rushing yards which helped maintain balance in Alabama’s offensive attack.


On receiving end CJ Dippre managed twelve receiving yards from just one catch but it was enough for a first down which kept an important drive alive early in the game setting tone for what was about coming from Crimson Tide offense.

The next challenge for Alabama will be against Mercer Bears at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa on November 16th at 2:00 PM EDT.
