First Quarter

The opening quarter was a slow start for the Tide as they failed to score any points. The Commodores took an early lead with a touchdown, showcasing their offensive capabilities. However, this would be one of their few highlights as Alabama's defense began to tighten up.

Second Quarter

Alabama found its rhythm in the second quarter. Ty Simpson led an impressive drive that resulted in two touchdowns through his precise passing game. Simpson completed 23 out of 31 attempts for a total of 340 yards and two touchdowns by game's end. His performance was crucial in turning the tide against Vanderbilt.

Fourth Quarter

The final period saw Alabama solidify their victory with another touchdown and field goal while keeping Vanderbilt scoreless throughout both quarters after halftime. Jam Miller was instrumental on the ground with his rushing prowess; he amassed 136 yards over 22 carries and scored one rushing touchdown.

Overall, this matchup highlighted several key moments where Alabama's defensive unit effectively neutralized threats posed by Vandy’s offense—an aspect critical in securing this win for Roll Tide fans eagerly watching every play unfold at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
