In an impressive display of offense, the Arizona State Sun Devils dominated their home turf at Mountain America Stadium against the Washington State Cougars. The Sun Devils showcased their rushing capabilities with a total of 235 yards on the ground and five touchdowns, including a remarkable longest run of 66 yards. Their longest touchdown rush was capped at 13 yards, contributing to their substantial total yardage of 509 for the game.
The passing game was equally effective for the Sun Devils as they accumulated 274 passing yards with an impressive completion percentage of approximately 73 percent from just nineteen completions. Notably, one pass reached as far as fifty yards downfield. This aerial attack complemented their ground game and contributed to twelve first downs through air travel alone.

Special teams played a role in maintaining field position as well; although no punts were blocked or returned for touchdowns, they managed to keep returns to zero yards on two attempts totaling seventy-five punt yards.
Penalties could have been problematic but were kept just under double digits at nine penalties costing them seventy-two penalty-yards – not enough to significantly hamper their performance on either side of the ball.
