Sun Devils Blaze Past Cyclones in a Dominant Display at AT&T Stadium

The Arizona State Sun Devils showcased their prowess on the field with an emphatic 45-19 victory over the Iowa State Cyclones, improving their season record to 11-2. The Cyclones, despite a valiant effort, fell to a 10-3 record after this encounter. The game, held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, was attended by 55,889 fans who witnessed the Sun Devils' commanding performance.

Key Highlights


Arizona State's offense was on fire throughout the game, amassing a total of 464 yards. Quarterback Sam Leavitt led the charge with an impressive passing performance of 219 yards and three touchdowns. His completion rate stood at an outstanding 71 percent for the game. Running back Cam Skattebo was another standout player for the Sun Devils, rushing for 170 yards on just 16 attempts and scoring two touchdowns.


On special teams, kicker Carston Kieffer contributed to Arizona State's scoreline with a perfect field goal from 32 yards out. Punter Kanyon Floyd also had a notable game with two punts totaling 67 yards and managing to place one inside the Iowa State's twenty-yard line.


Defensive Standouts


The Sun Devil's defense played a crucial role in securing this victory by limiting Iowa State to just nineteen points. Defensive efforts were highlighted by Caleb McCullough who made significant contributions including five tackles and two tackles for loss totaling nine negative yards against Iowa State.


Keith Abney II made his presence felt in the secondary by intercepting one pass and returning it eight yards - contributing to Arizona State’s comprehensive defensive display which included forcing two fumbles recovered by Jeff Clark and Justin Wodtly respectively.
