Folsom Field Showdown: Arizona Wildcats Edge Colorado Buffaloes in Football Game

The Arizona Wildcats, with a 7-3 record, narrowly defeated the Colorado Buffaloes, who now stand at 4-6. The final score at Folsom Field was 34-31 in favor of the visiting team.

In a closely contested game that saw the Arizona Wildcats come out on top against the Colorado Buffaloes, several key performances stood out. The Wildcats' offense was firing on all cylinders, amassing a total of 421 yards. Their rushing attack proved particularly effective as they gained 207 yards on the ground with an impressive average of 7.7 yards per carry and scored two touchdowns; one rush was notably long at 54 yards.


The passing game also contributed significantly to their victory with a total of 214 passing yards and an average gain of six yards per play. The quarterback's precision was evident as he completed 60 percent of his passes for two touchdowns and maintained an efficient passer rating of approximately 130.

Special teams played their part too; field goal kickers were perfect on the day, converting both attempts including one from beyond fifty yards. Kickoffs consistently reached the end zone resulting in six touchbacks and denying any return yardage for the Buffaloes.


Defensively, Arizona made its presence felt by recording three sacks for a loss of twenty-seven total sack yards and adding four tackles for loss amounting to thirty-two negative yardage against Colorado's offense. They also forced one fumble during play which showcased their ability to disrupt their opponents' rhythm.

Penalties could have been problematic as eight flags were thrown against them resulting in eighty-seven penalty yards but this did not deter them from securing victory.


As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for another home game where the Arizona Wildcats will face off against Utah Utes at Arizona Stadium in Tucson. This encounter is scheduled for November eighteen at seven-thirty PM local time and will be broadcasted live on Pac-12 Network.
