Game Highlights


The Bears' offense was unstoppable, amassing a total of 603 yards with an average gain of seven yards per play. Quarterback Sawyer Robertson led the charge with an outstanding performance, completing 23 out of 31 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns. On the ground, running back Bryson Washington had a standout game rushing for 192 yards on 28 attempts and scoring two touchdowns. Defensively, Baylor was just as effective. The team did not allow any sacks and recorded two interceptions alongside one forced fumble by Tevin Williams III that showcased their ability to disrupt Kansas' offensive rhythm. Devyn Bobby shone brightly on defense with two interceptions and two passes defended.


Special Teams Play


Special teams also played a crucial role in Baylor's victory strategy. Kicker Isaiah Hankins successfully made one field goal from forty yards out but missed another attempt; however his contribution added three points to Baylor’s scoreline which helped maintain their momentum throughout the game.


Punter Palmer Williams had an efficient day at work too; he punted twice for ninety-four total yards ensuring that Kansas would start from deep within their territory multiple times during the game.
