First Quarter

The opening quarter set the tone for Baylor's dominance. The Green and Gold quickly established control with two touchdowns, taking a 14-point lead. Sawyer Robertson showcased his precision by completing several key passes that led to scoring opportunities. His performance was instrumental in building an early advantage for Baylor.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, UCF managed to get on the scoreboard with a field goal but struggled to penetrate Baylor's robust defense further. Cooper Lanz stood out defensively for Baylor with one sack and multiple tackles that thwarted any momentum from UCF's offense.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, both teams tightened their defenses. However, it was Connor Hawkins who extended Baylor’s lead by successfully converting a field goal attempt from 41 yards out. This added pressure on UCF as they failed to respond offensively during this period.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw DJ Coleman intercepting a pass and returning it for significant yardage, setting up another touchdown opportunity for Robertson and his receivers. Michael Trigg capitalized on this chance by catching one of Robertson’s three touchdown passes of the day.

Throughout this encounter, "Baylor Bears post-match stats" highlighted their defensive prowess with two interceptions and consistent pressure on UCF’s quarterback leading to multiple turnovers.
