At Sam Boyd Stadium, the Boise State Broncos struggled to find their rhythm against a formidable Washington Huskies defense. Despite their efforts, the Broncos could only muster one touchdown throughout the game. The passing game saw them complete 21 out of 37 attempts for a total of 188 yards and one touchdown pass that covered ten yards. However, two interceptions by the Huskies' defense hindered any momentum that might have been building for Boise State.

The rushing attack didn't fare much better for the Broncos as they carried the ball 22 times but only managed to gain an average of about four yards per attempt, totaling up to just 78 yards on the ground without any touchdowns. Their red zone efficiency was split down the middle with one success in two attempts while they converted just three out of eleven third downs and were successful on half of their fourth-down tries.

Special teams had little impact on changing fortunes for Boise State; although they did not allow any blocked punts or punt returns for touchdowns, they also did not produce such plays themselves. Penalties were minimal as well with only three infractions costing them twenty-five yards.

On defense, Boise State managed to sack Washington's quarterback three times and recorded ten tackles for loss which showed some resistance despite what was reflected on the scoreboard. They spent nearly twenty-six minutes controlling possession but ultimately failed to translate this time into points.

The Washington Huskies displayed dominance across all fronts in this encounter at Las Vegas's Sam Boyd Stadium before an audience of over thirty-four thousand fans. They tallied thirty-eight points including fourteen in both second and final quarters which sealed their victory convincingly over Boise State.

As fans look ahead after this challenging outing for Boise State football team, attention turns towards improvement and preparation for upcoming games as they aim to bounce back from this setback against Washington Huskies.
