In an intense football game at California Memorial Stadium, the home team, the California Golden Bears, secured a win over their opponents. The offense of the Golden Bears was on full display as they amassed a total of 393 yards. The passing game contributed significantly with 280 yards and included a longest completion of 44 yards. Despite two interceptions thrown by the Golden Bears' quarterback, one pass did find its way into the end zone for a touchdown.

The rushing attack added another dimension to their offense with 113 yards on ground and an average of over five yards per carry. This effort was highlighted by a longest run that spanned 21 yards and also resulted in one rushing touchdown for the team.

Special teams played an essential role in this victory as well; field goal kickers were perfect on the day, converting both attempts including one from beyond fifty yards out. Punters also had an effective day with six punts totaling 266 yards and three landing inside the twenty-yard line.

Defensively, the Golden Bears made their presence felt by recording four sacks and forcing two fumbles which they recovered both times – one being returned for a touchdown adding crucial points to their tally. They also managed to intercept one pass from Stanford's quarterback which they returned for forty yards.

On Stanford's side, despite putting up twenty points against their hosts, it wasn't enough to secure victory. Their defense did manage to sack California's quarterback once but couldn't stop them when it mattered most especially during fourth quarter where they conceded twenty-one points.

As fans look forward to future games, attention turns towards next week’s contest where University of California Los Angeles Bruins will face off against University of California Berkeley at Berkeley’s own California Memorial Stadium on November twenty-fifth at two-thirty PM local time (PST). Fans can catch all action live on FOX network as these teams battle it out in what promises be another exciting college football event.
