First Quarter

The opening quarter saw a dominant performance from the home team as they surged ahead with a commanding lead. The ECU Pirates scored three touchdowns, leaving Charlotte scoreless and setting an early tone for the game.

Second Quarter

In response, Charlotte's quarterback Grayson Loftis displayed his passing prowess by connecting on two touchdown passes. His efforts helped narrow the gap slightly as both teams scored 14 points each during this period. Loftis completed over half of his passes and threw for a total of three touchdowns throughout the game.

Third Quarter

The third quarter witnessed another burst from Charlotte as they added eight points to their tally. Javen Nicholas was instrumental during this phase, catching two touchdown passes and showcasing his ability to make crucial plays under pressure. However, ECU managed to extend their lead by adding ten more points.

Fourth Quarter

As fatigue set in during the final quarter, neither team could find much rhythm offensively. The only scoring came from a field goal by ECU that sealed their victory with an additional three points.

Despite some bright moments from players like Sean Brown who caught seven passes for over one hundred yards and one touchdown, it was not enough for Charlotte against an efficient Pirate offense that capitalized on turnovers and penalties committed by Niners throughout various stages of play.
