At Gesa Field, home of the Washington State Cougars, the Colorado Buffaloes were unable to stem the tide as they succumbed to their hosts. The Buffaloes managed to accumulate a total of 255 yards during the game but were significantly outperformed by their opponents who scored eight touchdowns. Despite their efforts on defense which resulted in three sacks and two fumble recoveries, it was not enough to disrupt the rhythm of the Cougars' attack.

The offense for Colorado had moments of effectiveness but ultimately fell short. They completed only 44 percent of their passes for a total passing yardage of 164 and one touchdown pass that covered an impressive distance. On the ground, they rushed for 91 yards including one rushing touchdown which came from within close range.

Special teams saw some action as well; however there was no punt blocked or returned for a touchdown. The kick return unit did show some life with an average return distance indicating solid field position gains when given opportunities.

Penalties played only a minor role in this contest for both teams; neither side reached double digits in penalties or amassed over 100 yards due to infractions.

Looking ahead after this tough outing at Pullman's Gesa Field under artificial lights before an attendance crowd nearing capacity, attention turns toward future contests on schedule.

The next challenge facing Colorado will be against Utah Utes at Rice-Eccles Stadium located in Salt Lake City on November 25th at around mid-afternoon local time. Fans eager to support can tune into Pac-12 Network broadcasts and witness how their team regroups following this difficult road loss.
