Clash of the Rams and Rebels at Allegiant Stadium in Upcoming Football Showdown

As the Colorado State Rams prepare to face off against the UNLV Rebels at Allegiant Stadium, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The upcoming game on October 21st promises to be a thrilling encounter, but what can we expect from the Rams based on their recent performances?

UNLV Runnin' Rebels VS Colorado State Rams

The Rams' last game against Boise State Broncos on October 15th ended in a narrow victory with a score of 31-30. This win was not just about putting points on the board; it showcased their resilience and ability to capitalize under pressure. With an impressive passing total of 359 yards and three touchdowns, they demonstrated that their aerial attack could be lethal. Despite being sacked twice, they maintained a completion percentage of around 59 percent.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for CSU. The ground game struggled significantly, managing only 42 yards across 21 attempts – that's an average of just two yards per carry. This could spell trouble against UNLV if they can't establish a more balanced offense.

Defensively, CSU showed some promise by intercepting two passes and recovering one fumble against Boise State. Yet, they failed to record any sacks or tackles for loss which indicates there's room for improvement in disrupting opposing offenses.

Looking back further to October 8th when CSU faced Utah State Aggies, we saw another side of this team – one plagued by turnovers and missed opportunities. They suffered five turnovers including three interceptions thrown by their quarterback which contributed heavily to their defeat with a scoreline of 24-44.

On September 30th versus Utah Tech Trailblazers though, CSU seemed unstoppable as they dominated with a score of 41-20. Their quarterback threw for an astonishing four touchdowns with no sacks allowed and achieved an exceptional passer rating over 223.

So what does this mean for the upcoming match? It's clear that when CSU is firing on all cylinders – especially through the air – they're tough to beat. However, consistency is key; if they repeat mistakes like those seen against Utah State Aggies or fail to improve their rushing attack from the Boise State game - it could be another story altogether.

Fans should expect CSU's strategy to revolve around exploiting UNLV’s defense through passing while tightening up defensively themselves after showing vulnerabilities in recent games.

The scheduled date is fast approaching; fans can catch all the action live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas or tune into MW Network at precisely six o'clock PM local time (PDT) on October 21st where these teams will battle it out under the bright lights.
