First Quarter

The game commenced with both teams showcasing their offensive capabilities. The Rams managed to put points on the board early, thanks to Darius Curry's precise passing. Curry completed 26 out of his 46 attempts, amassing an impressive 293 yards and securing two touchdowns. Despite this strong start, the Broncos matched their efforts with an equally potent offense.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, Boise State began to dominate. The Green and Gold struggled defensively as they allowed three touchdowns without response from their side. Lemondre Joe made notable contributions for CSU by recovering a fumble and recording one sack during this period.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw continued pressure from Boise's offense as they extended their lead further. Paul Tangelo stood out for CSU's defense by adding another sack to his tally but was unable to halt Boise’s momentum entirely.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter, Colorado State attempted a comeback with Lloyd Avant rushing for one touchdown and Tay Lanier catching another pass in the end zone from Curry; however, it wasn't enough against Boise’s relentless attack which added two more touchdowns before sealing victory at full-time whistle.
