East Carolina Pirates Clash with South Florida Bulls at Bagwell Field in Football Showdown

The East Carolina Pirates faced a challenging game against the South Florida Bulls, concluding with a 31-61 record. The Pirates' efforts were not enough to overcome the Bulls' offensive onslaught, despite both teams entering the game with equal opportunities for victory.

At Bagwell Field at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, the home crowd of 34,883 witnessed an intense battle where the East Carolina Pirates showcased their offensive capabilities. However, interceptions proved costly for East Carolina as two passes were picked off by the opposing defense.

The defensive squad forced one fumble which they recovered and recorded one sack for seven lost yardage against South Florida's quarterback.


Penalties could have been a concern but remained relatively controlled as only six infractions occurred costing them fifty-eight penalty yards during gameplay.
