First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Green Wave take an early lead with a field goal, putting them ahead by 3 points. The Pirates struggled to find their rhythm, unable to put any points on the board during this period.

Second Quarter

Tulane extended their lead in the second quarter by adding another 9 points through effective plays and strategic field goals. Despite efforts from ECU's defense, led by players like TyMir Brown who contributed significantly with tackles, they couldn't prevent Tulane from increasing their advantage.

Third Quarter

The third quarter marked a turning point for ECU as they rallied back into contention. Katin Houser showcased his passing skills with an impressive completion rate of 63 percent and threw for one touchdown. This effort helped narrow down Tulane's lead as ECU scored 16 unanswered points.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter, both teams battled fiercely. While ECU managed to add another field goal courtesy of kicker Nick Mazzie’s precision kicking—who maintained a perfect record for attempts—their defense couldn't hold back Tulane’s offensive surge that resulted in two touchdowns sealing their victory.

Despite falling short, several Pirate players stood out; London Montgomery rushed for significant yardage contributing crucial first downs while Parker Jenkins made impactful receptions aiding offensive drives.
