The Gators' offense was firing on all cylinders, amassing a total of 395 yards. The passing game was particularly effective, with the quarterback completing an impressive 86 percent of his passes for a total of 259 yards and one touchdown. The longest pass completed stretched for 32 yards, contributing significantly to their nine first downs through the air. On the ground, Florida managed to gain another solid chunk of yardage with a total of 136 rushing yards; their longest run broke free for an impressive distance of 25 yards.

Special teams also played a pivotal role in this game's outcome. The Gators' kicker was perfect on the day, successfully converting all five field goal attempts with the longest being from an impressive distance of 54 yards. This accuracy contributed heavily to Florida's point tally and kept momentum firmly on their side throughout the game.

Defensively, Florida made its presence felt by recording four sacks and forcing one fumble which they did not recover but showcased their ability to disrupt offensive plays effectively. Their defense held strong against any scoring threats posed by Charlotte and limited them to just seven points for the entire game.

On special teams returns, punt return efforts added another layer to Florida's performance as they accumulated a total return yardage of 53 from four attempts; one return peaked at an exciting distance of 21 yards.

The next challenge for the Florida Gators will be an away game against Kentucky Wildcats at Kroger Field in Lexington. Scheduled for September (30th) at (12:00 PM), fans can catch all action live on ESPN as both teams look forward to continuing their campaigns in what promises another exciting college football encounter.
