Bulldogs Triumph at FirstBank Stadium Over Commodores in Week 7 Football Game

The Georgia Bulldogs showcased a balanced offensive attack against Vanderbilt. With an average gain of seven yards per play, they accumulated a total of 552 yards over the course of the game. Their rushing offense was particularly effective, amassing 291 yards with an average of seven yards per attempt and contributing three touchdowns to their tally. One rush stood out as it broke free for a remarkable distance of sixty-two yards.


Georgia's passing game was also efficient; completing twenty-nine passes out of thirty-nine attempts for two hundred sixty-one yards and one touchdown pass that connected for four yards into the end zone. Their quarterback posted a passer rating of one hundred thirty-four and managed to distribute thirteen first downs through air strikes.

Special teams played their part as well, with Georgia's kicker successfully converting all three field goal attempts, including one from forty-four yards out – his longest for this game – contributing nine points to their scoreline.


Defensively, Georgia held strong throughout most parts of the game. They recorded one sack and four tackles for loss while limiting Vanderbilt's scoring opportunities significantly in each quarter except for the last where Vanderbilt managed thirteen points against them.
