The game saw an impressive offensive display from both teams. The Commodores accumulated a total of 420 yards, with their passing game contributing significantly to this tally. Quarterback play was notable as they completed 18 passes for 337 yards, including three touchdowns through the air – one of which was an impressive longest completion of 56 yards that also resulted in their longest touchdown. Their efficiency within the red zone was evident with a success rate of 75 percent on four attempts.

Despite these efforts, turnovers proved costly for the Commodores as they lost three fumbles and threw one interception that was returned for a touchdown by the Rebels. This interception return covered a distance of 37 yards into the end zone. Additionally, their rushing attack struggled to gain traction against a stout Rebel defense, managing only an average of just over two yards per carry across their attempts.

On special teams, field goal kicking played its part in keeping Vanderbilt within striking distance; they successfully made three out of four field goal attempts with their longest being from 44 yards out.

The Rebels capitalized on opportunities presented by turnovers and built momentum through each quarter after trailing by ten points in the first period. They scored twenty points in both second and fourth quarters which were crucial to securing their win despite being outgained in total yardage by Vanderbilt.

As fans look forward to future games this season, they can expect more exciting football action broadcasted from college stadiums across America. The Florida Gators community will undoubtedly be eager to see how upcoming opponents fare against their team's dynamic play on both sides of the ball.
