The game held at FirstBank Stadium saw an attendance of 40,350 fans who witnessed the Volunteers' offense amass a total of 513 yards. The team's rushing attack was particularly potent, accounting for 362 yards on the ground. This included an explosive longest rush that resulted in an 83-yard touchdown, one of six rushing touchdowns that contributed to their commanding lead.

The passing game for Tennessee was efficient as well, with a completion percentage rounded to 55 percent and passing plays accumulating 151 yards. A notable highlight was a long pass play that stretched for 61 yards downfield. The quarterback's performance earned them a passer rating of approximately 127.

Special teams also played their part in Tennessee's comprehensive victory; they returned one punt for an impressive touchdown covering a distance of exactly 73 yards. Their kickoffs totaled nearly half-a-thousand yards and included two touchbacks.

Defensively, the Volunteers were just as formidable. They recorded three sacks and forced one fumble which they recovered themselves, ensuring Vanderbilt remained scoreless throughout all four quarters.

On the other side of the ball, despite their efforts, Vanderbilt could not penetrate Tennessee's defense nor could they put points on the board. Their inability to convert any third-down attempts into first downs highlighted their struggles against an unyielding Volunteer defense.

As fans look ahead after this emphatic win by Tennessee at Nashville’s FirstBank Stadium under artificial lights and open skies – it is clear that this game will be remembered for its one-sided nature and dominant performance by the away team.

Looking forward to future broadcasts involving these teams will surely excite fans as they anticipate whether anyone can challenge or replicate such commanding performances displayed by teams like Tennessee Volunteers in college football games ahead.
