In an impressive display of offensive capability, the Florida Gators amassed a total of 423 yards against their opponents. The passing game was particularly effective, with the quarterback throwing for 314 yards and achieving a passer rating of nearly 150. This aerial assault resulted in three touchdowns through the air, with one pass reaching as far as 50 yards downfield. The Gators' receivers were on point throughout the game, securing receptions that moved chains for fifteen first downs.

On special teams, excitement peaked when one punt return was taken back for an impressive touchdown covering 60 yards. This contributed to the Gators' total return yardage which stood at 49 by game's end. Meanwhile, kickoffs were strategically placed by Florida with two landing inside the opponent's twenty-yard line and two resulting in touchbacks.

Defensively, Florida managed to apply pressure on their adversaries by recording two sacks and forcing one fumble which they recovered themselves – showcasing their ability to disrupt plays and create opportunities for turnovers.

Penalties could have been problematic but were kept relatively low with only five infractions costing them forty-two penalty yards throughout the game.

As fans cheered from stands filled with nearly twenty-nine thousand attendees at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium on September ninth afternoon kickoff time approached three o'clock PM Eastern Time Zone – it was clear that both teams were eager to compete but ultimately it was Wake Forest who emerged victorious from this encounter between collegiate football programs.
