The Florida International Panthers entered Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium with determination, but despite their efforts, they were unable to secure victory. The Panthers' offense managed to accumulate a total of 277 yards throughout the game. Their passing game saw them complete 23 out of 39 attempts for a total of 230 yards, achieving an average of over five yards per attempt and securing eleven first downs through the air. However, they could not convert these efforts into touchdowns.

On the ground, things did not fare much better for the Panthers as they rushed thirty-six times but only gained forty-seven yards—an average of just over one yard per carry—and achieved five first downs. The rushing attack's longest run was fourteen yards, which highlights their struggle against a staunch Blue Raiders defense.

Special teams had mixed results; while two field goals were made from three attempts with one being as long as forty-two yards, kickoffs did not consistently reach deep territory with only one touchback from three kickoffs and one going out of bounds.

Penalties seemed to be kept in check by both teams; however, six penalties resulting in fifty-five penalty yards indicated discipline issues that might have affected crucial moments for the Panthers.

The defense was on its heels throughout most of this encounter. They allowed zero sacks and managed four tackles for loss totaling nine negative yards against their opponents but failed to force any turnovers or defend passes effectively enough to change momentum.

As fans look forward to future games, it is important to note that there will be no rest for the weary as Florida International prepares to face off against Arkansas Razorbacks at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on November 19th at 7:30 PM EST. This upcoming game can be watched on ESPNU by those eager to see if Florida International can bounce back from this setback.
