In a week 4 game at Riccardo Silva Stadium, the Florida International Panthers faced a challenging opponent in the Liberty Flames. The home crowd of 17,437 fans witnessed an intense battle where turnovers played a significant role in shaping the outcome. The Florida International Panthers managed to secure two fumble recoveries and one interception during the game, showcasing their defensive capabilities despite falling short on offense.

The offensive efforts for Florida International were led by their rushing attack which produced one touchdown and accounted for four first downs out of their total eleven. However, they struggled to capitalize on opportunities as evidenced by their red zone efficiency; although they had a perfect success rate in both red zone and goal-to-go situations, these chances were limited to just one attempt each.

Florida International's passing game faced challenges throughout as they completed only eleven out of twenty-four pass attempts for a total of 147 yards. Their longest completion was an impressive 48-yard play but ultimately did not result in points on the board due to no passing touchdowns being recorded.

Special teams had moments worth noting too; although there were no blocked punts or punt returns for touchdowns, FIU's kick return unit managed to accumulate forty-one yards across three returns with their longest being twenty-two yards.

Penalties seemed under control as only five were called against FIU totaling forty-three penalty yards – not enough to significantly impact their overall performance but still indicative of areas needing improvement.

Looking ahead after this tough loss at home, Florida International will turn its focus toward preparing for its next challenge against New Mexico State Aggies at Aggie Memorial Stadium. This away game is scheduled for October fifth at eight PM Eastern Time and will be broadcasted live on CBS Sports Network from Las Cruces. Fans are encouraged to tune in and support their team as they continue through this season's campaign.
