In a game that saw the Florida State Seminoles travel to Cardinal Stadium, their performance was marked by an impressive passing offense and staunch defense. The quarterback for the Seminoles threw for 294 yards with a completion rate of 59 percent, connecting on four touchdown passes without conceding any interceptions. Notably, one of these touchdowns was a remarkable 58-yard pass, which also stood as the longest in the game.

The defense of the Florida State Seminoles was equally formidable, recording four sacks and recovering one fumble while forcing three more. Their relentless pressure resulted in a total loss of 36 yards for the Cardinals' offense. Additionally, two interceptions by the Seminole defense further hampered Louisville's efforts to maintain offensive momentum.

Despite their prowess through air attacks, the ground game for Florida State was less dominant but still contributed with five first downs from their rushing attempts totaling 76 yards. The receiving corps excelled with an average of over 18 yards per catch and accounted for all four touchdowns scored by FSU.

Special teams played their part too; although no punts were blocked or returned for touchdowns, FSU's punter averaged nearly 39 net yards across seven attempts with his longest punt traveling an impressive distance of 61 yards.

Penalties could have been problematic as FSU incurred seven penalties amounting to a total of 55 penalty yards; however, this did not significantly hinder their overall performance or outcome.

On Louisville's side, despite scoring more points than FSU in both second quarter (14) and third quarter (3), they failed to add any points during fourth quarter which allowed FSU to secure their lead and ultimately win the game.

The next challenge facing The Florida State Seminoles will be an away game against Miami (FL) Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium on October sixth at seven thirty PM Eastern Time. Fans can catch all action live on ABC as The Seminoles look forward to continuing their winning ways on foreign turf.
