From the outset, the Florida State Seminoles established their dominance on home turf at Bobby Bowden Field in Tallahassee. The offense was firing on all cylinders, amassing a total of 474 yards with an average gain of nearly six yards per play. The ground game proved particularly potent for the Seminoles, churning out 241 rushing yards and contributing five touchdowns to the scoreboard. Their longest rush was a notable 27-yard dash through the Orange defense.

The passing game also added its share to the offensive onslaught as Florida State's quarterback completed 19 passes for 246 yards. One pass stood out as it covered more than half of the field, traveling 54 yards through the air – a testament to both arm strength and receiver agility.

Special teams played their part efficiently; all six kickoffs by Florida State ended in touchbacks, ensuring that Syracuse started each drive from their own territory without any chance for return yardage gains.

Defensively, Florida State was just as imposing. They racked up seven sacks against Syracuse's quarterback totaling a loss of 24 yards for the opposition and consistently disrupted offensive plays throughout each quarter.

Penalties could have been an area of concern as eleven flags were thrown against them amounting to 76 penalty yards but this did not significantly hinder their performance or momentum during this game.

Red zone efficiency was another highlight for Florida State; they capitalized on four out of five opportunities when within striking distance of scoring – showcasing effective play-calling and execution under pressure.

As fans look forward to future games, they can mark their calendars for what promises to be an exciting encounter between two storied programs. The next challenge awaits as Miami (FL) Hurricanes will face off against Florida State Seminoles at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee on November second at seven-thirty PM Eastern Time.
