At Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium, the Florida State Seminoles displayed a commanding performance on both sides of the ball. The offense was particularly effective through the air, with a passing game that accumulated 352 yards and two touchdowns. The quarterback's precision was on display as he completed 71 percent of his passes, including a remarkable 78-yard touchdown pass which stood out as the longest play from scrimmage.

The rushing attack added balance to the offense, contributing two touchdowns and gaining an average of over two yards per carry across their numerous attempts. Red zone efficiency was perfect for the Seminoles; they capitalized on all four opportunities presented to them.

Special teams also played a pivotal role in this game. The field goal unit was flawless, converting all three attempts with one being an impressive long-range kick from beyond 50 yards. Kickoffs were equally dominant with six touchbacks from seven kicks, limiting return opportunities for the Huskies.

Penalties could have been problematic for some teams but were kept under control by both sides; neither team exceeded nine penalties or reached 100 penalty yards during this contest.

Defensively, Florida State made its presence felt by sacking Northern Illinois' quarterback four times and forcing one fumble which they recovered themselves – showcasing their ability to disrupt plays behind the line of scrimmage effectively.

Despite these efforts by Florida State's defense and special teams units, it is worth noting that Northern Illinois did not go down without a fight. They managed to put up 19 points against a tough Seminole defense and showed resilience throughout each quarter despite trailing early on after conceding fourteen points in just the first period alone.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for when Florida State takes on Louisville Cardinals at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville KY scheduled for September 29th at 7:30 PM Eastern Time. This upcoming game will be broadcasted live on ESPN2 where supporters can tune in to follow their team's progress through this season's challenges.
