Florida State Seminoles: Can They Bounce Back After Miami (FL) Hurricanes Defeat?

The Florida State Seminoles faced a challenging game against the Miami (FL) Hurricanes, concluding with a 14-36 loss. Key Highlights from the Game


The Seminoles struggled to find their rhythm against a robust Hurricanes defense. Despite this, there were notable performances from several players. Punter Alex Mastromanno had an impressive game with punts totaling 154 yards and managing to place one inside the 20-yard line. On defense, Darrell Jackson Jr. stood out with two sacks and two tackles for loss, contributing significantly to the team's defensive efforts.


Quarterback play was split between Luke Kromenhoek and Brock Glenn for the Seminoles. Kromenhoek completed six out of fourteen attempts for 61 yards while Glenn managed five completions on eighteen attempts but threw for one touchdown and totaled 54 passing yards.


Offensive Efforts


On offense, running back Lawrance Toafili led with rushing efforts totaling 26 yards on six carries. Caziah Holmes found the end zone on one of his four attempts that summed up to fifteen rushing yards which marked one of two touchdowns scored by Florida State during this matchup.


Receiving efforts were led by Malik Benson who caught three passes including a touchdown and totaled twenty-one receiving yards which contributed significantly towards moving chains for Florida State.

The next challenge awaiting Florida State Seminoles is a home game against North Carolina Tar Heels scheduled on November 2nd at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.
