Florida State Seminoles Dominate Alabama Crimson Tide with Stellar Defense and Ground Game

The Florida State Seminoles kicked off their season with a commanding 31-17 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium. The Seminoles now hold a 1-0 record, while the Tide start their campaign with a 0-1 record.

First Quarter


The game began evenly, with both teams scoring 7 points each in the first quarter. The Noles' defense set an early tone, showcasing their ability to pressure the quarterback and disrupt plays. Deamontae Diggs led the charge for Florida State's defensive line, recording one of three sacks that would prove pivotal throughout the game.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, Florida State's offense found its rhythm. Running back Jaylin Lucas contributed significantly to this effort by gaining crucial yards on multiple carries. The Tribe managed to add another 10 points while keeping Alabama scoreless in this period, thanks to a solid defensive performance that included key tackles from linebacker Elijah Herring.


Third Quarter


The third quarter saw continued dominance from Florida State's rushing attack. Micahi Danzy broke through for an impressive touchdown run of 32 yards, further extending FSU’s lead. Meanwhile, Tommy Castellanos efficiently managed passing duties without turnovers and maintained composure under pressure.


Fourth Quarter


Alabama attempted a comeback in the fourth quarter but was met by relentless defense from players like Justin Cryer who tallied seven combined tackles during his time on field. Despite scoring another touchdown late in playtime along with field goal earlier on; it wasn’t enough against well-rounded performance delivered across all facets by home team - ultimately sealing full-time result favoring them at end whistle blow!
