Fresno State Bulldogs Dominate at University Stadium (NM) Against New Mexico State Aggies in American Football Showdown

The game saw the Fresno State Bulldogs amass an impressive total of 500 yards, with their passing game particularly effective. The quarterback threw for 380 yards with a completion rate of approximately 78 percent and three touchdowns. His longest pass was for 39 yards, contributing to an average gain per play of about eight yards across all plays. On the ground, Fresno State's rushing efforts added another dimension to their attack as they accumulated 120 yards with an average of nearly five yards per carry.


Special teams also played a pivotal role for Fresno State; their kicker was perfect on the day, converting all three field goal attempts with his longest being from 38 yards out. Additionally, kickoffs were strategically executed resulting in six touchbacks from eight kickoffs.


Defensively, Fresno State was relentless throughout the game. They recorded four sacks totaling a loss of 21 yards for New Mexico State and seven tackles for loss which set back NMS by another 32 yards collectively. Their defense also managed to force one fumble and intercept one pass during critical moments in the game.


The Aggies struggled against this robust defense but did manage to put up some resistance through their own passing game which accounted for all ten points scored by them – three points coming from a field goal and seven from a touchdown pass.
