The game at Aggie Memorial Stadium saw the Fresno State Bulldogs demonstrate their offensive capabilities by amassing a total of 379 yards. The rushing attack was particularly effective, contributing 239 yards to this tally. A highlight was an electrifying 79-yard touchdown run that captivated fans and showcased the team's explosive potential on the ground.

Fresno State's defense also played a pivotal role in securing this victory by intercepting three passes from their opponents, one of which was returned for an impressive 91-yard touchdown. This defensive feat contributed significantly to the team's momentum and overall success on game day.

Special teams were another area where Fresno State excelled; they successfully converted all three field goal attempts with the longest being from 38 yards out. Additionally, kickoffs were strategically executed resulting in five touchbacks and ensuring that New Mexico State started many drives from deep within their own territory.

The passing game for Fresno State was efficient as well, with a completion percentage rounding up to approximately 65 percent for a total passing yardage of 147 yards. Red zone efficiency stood out as well; Fresno State capitalized on three out of four opportunities inside their opponent’s twenty-yard line.

On the other side, despite being outplayed overall, New Mexico State did have moments where they shone through. They managed to put up points in both third and fourth quarters but couldn't overcome Fresno States' lead or staunch defense.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate watching their beloved Bulldogs take on Air Force Falcons at Falcon Stadium located at U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on October 12th at around six o'clock PM local time (MDT). This upcoming contest will be broadcasted live on CBS Sports Network via satellite channel number two hundred twenty-one for those eager supporters unable to attend in person.
