At Bulldog Stadium at Jim Sweeney Field, the Fresno State Bulldogs displayed a commanding presence on their home turf. The offense was particularly effective through the air, with the passing game accumulating 267 yards and achieving a completion percentage of roughly 71 percent. The quarterback's precision was evident as he connected for an impressive longest pass of 86 yards, which also resulted in the team's only passing touchdown.

The rushing attack added another dimension to the Bulldogs' offense, contributing two touchdowns and grinding out 123 yards on the ground. Despite averaging nearly three yards per carry, it was their persistence that paid off with two crucial touchdowns and eleven first downs achieved via rushes.

Special teams played their role efficiently as well; although one field goal attempt missed its mark from beyond forty-nine yards, another was successful from within twenty-nine yards. Extra point attempts saw two made kicks out of three attempts; however one kick did not find its way through the uprights due to being blocked.

Defensively, Fresno State held strong throughout most of the game. They managed to sack San Diego State's quarterback once for a loss of six yards and limited them to zero points in both third and fourth quarters. This defensive effort helped maintain control over the pace and flow of the game.

San Diego State Aztecs were not without merit; they matched Fresno State's seven points in both first quarter but could only add another seven before halftime during second quarter. Their defense also recorded two sacks against Fresno's quarterback but ultimately could not contain Bulldog’s offensive efforts or add any points during second half.

As fans look ahead after this solid performance by their team, they can anticipate watching more action-packed football when Fresno faces off against San Jose State Spartans at Bulldog Stadium at Jim Sweeney Field on November 24th at 4 PM local time (7 PM EST). This upcoming contest will be broadcasted live on ESPNU for fans who wish to follow along from afar or those unable to attend what promises to be yet another exciting game day experience in Fresno.
