Key Highlights


The Bulldogs' offense was unstoppable, amassing a total of 525 yards. Mikey Keene led the charge with an impressive passing game, throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns on a completion rate of over 54 percent. His longest touchdown pass was a spectacular 69-yard throw that electrified the home crowd.


On the ground, Malik Sherrod was equally impressive, rushing for 113 yards on just fifteen carries and scoring once. His longest run of the night stretched for 48 yards, contributing significantly to Fresno State's average gain of eight yards per play.


Defensively, Fresno State was impenetrable. They recorded four sacks and three interceptions while holding New Mexico State scoreless throughout the game. Cam Lockridge stood out with two interceptions and contributed six combined tackles alongside forcing one fumble.

Dylan Lynch had a perfect night as well, converting both field goal attempts with his longest being from forty yards out. He also successfully made all six extra-point attempts contributing to Fresno State's comprehensive victory.


Punter Clay Lawrence had five punts totaling an impressive distance of one hundred eighty-five yards ensuring that New Mexico State often found themselves starting from unfavorable positions on the field.
