Fresno State Bulldogs Dominate San Jose State Spartans with a Commanding Performance

In a compelling display of football, the Fresno State Bulldogs improved their season record to 5-3 after decisively defeating the San Jose State Spartans with a final score of 33-10. The victory at Valley Children's Stadium in Fresno saw the home team outperform in both offense and defense, leaving the Spartans trailing with their own record now standing at 5-3.

Key Performances on the Field


The Bulldogs showcased their prowess on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Mikey Keene led by example, completing 30 out of 41 attempts for a total of 275 yards, throwing three touchdowns against one interception. His performance earned him an impressive passer rating of 148.78 percent. On the ground, Elijah Gilliam was a standout player for Fresno State, rushing for 56 yards on 15 attempts and scoring one touchdown.


Defensively, Fresno State was equally dominant. The team recorded four interceptions and two sacks over the course of the game. Al'zillion Hamilton made significant contributions with one interception returned for an impressive gain of 69 yards and also forced a fumble that highlighted his defensive capabilities.


Special Teams Shine


Special teams played no small part in this comprehensive win. Kicker Dylan Lynch was perfect on the day, converting two field goals from attempts including his longest from 48 yards out contributing to his total kicking yardage of 81 yards.
