The Bulldogs showcased a balanced offensive and defensive performance against the Gators. Quarterback Carson Beck completed 25 out of his 40 attempts, throwing for a total of 309 yards with two touchdowns despite three interceptions. His performance was crucial in maintaining the offensive momentum for Georgia. On the ground, Nate Frazier led the rushing attack with 82 yards on 19 carries, finding the end zone once and contributing significantly to Georgia's total rushing yardage of 146.


Defensively, Georgia was relentless, registering two sacks and six tackles for loss among their notable stats. Chaz Chambliss stood out with both sacks and two quarterback hits, disrupting Florida's offense effectively. The defense also managed an interception by CJ Allen that added to their turnover tally.


Special teams played a pivotal role as well; Peyton Woodring successfully converted both field goal attempts with his longest being an impressive 53 yards. Brett Thorson's punting was consistent, pinning Florida inside their own 20-yard line twice out of five attempts.


Player Performances


Several players had standout performances that contributed to this comprehensive team victory. Arian Smith made significant contributions as a receiver with two receptions totaling 59 yards, showcasing his big-play ability by averaging nearly thirty yards per catch. Dillon Bell also made key receptions totaling fifty yards to keep drives alive.


On defense aside from Chambliss' impactful plays, Jalon Walker recovered a fumble which halted one of Florida's drives - showcasing Georgia’s ability to capitalize on opponents' mistakes.
