First Quarter


The opening quarter saw the Volunteers take an early lead, scoring 21 points against Georgia's 7. The Vols capitalized on their home advantage and executed plays efficiently, putting pressure on Georgia's defense.


Second Quarter


In response, the Bulldogs tightened up defensively in the second quarter and managed to shut out Tennessee while adding 10 points of their own. Gunner Stockton led Georgia's offense with precision passing, completing passes that set up crucial first downs.
