The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets entered the field with determination, but despite their efforts, they could not overcome the lead established by the home team. The offense managed to accumulate a total of 353 yards throughout the game. The passing game contributed 206 yards to this tally, highlighted by a longest completion of 40 yards and an average gain per play of approximately four yards.

The rushing department added another layer to their offensive scheme with 173 yards gained on ground attacks. A notable rush was recorded at 25 yards, showcasing their ability to break through defensive lines for substantial gains. Their efforts were rewarded with two touchdowns from rushing plays, one being an eight-yard dash into the end zone.

Special teams also played their part; Georgia Tech's punter averaged over fifty-one net yards across five attempts, including one that sailed for an impressive distance before halting at fifty-four yards. In terms of scoring precision, Georgia Tech's kicker successfully converted all attempted kicks including one field goal from forty-two yards out.

On defense, Georgia Tech managed to sack Duke's quarterback twice for a loss of six total yardage while also blocking one special teams play which demonstrated their ability to disrupt opposing strategies.

However disciplined they were in some aspects of play, penalties did occur six times against them resulting in fifty-five penalty yardage assessed which is indicative that there is room for improvement in maintaining composure under pressure situations.

Looking ahead after this tough encounter on turf grounds away from home soil against Duke University’s team – fans can mark their calendars for October nineteenth when Georgia Tech will take on Miami (FL) Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium located in Miami Gardens under Florida skies. This upcoming game is scheduled for four o'clock post-noon and will be broadcasted live on ACC Network via satellite channel six hundred twelve where supporters can tune in to cheer on their team once again.
