At John O'Quinn Field at TDECU Stadium, the Houston Cougars displayed a determined effort but ultimately fell short against their opponents. The home team's defense was able to sack the opposing quarterback four times and recorded six tackles for loss, showcasing their ability to disrupt plays behind the line of scrimmage. Despite these efforts, they were unable to secure any interceptions throughout the game.

The Cougars' offense had moments of efficiency but struggled with turnovers. They completed two touchdowns through passing but also threw three interceptions which hindered their momentum. Their passing game accumulated 102 yards with an average of approximately six yards per reception and achieved a completion percentage of around 57 percent.

Houston’s rushing attack was more productive than their aerial assault as they amassed 139 yards on the ground with an impressive average of over six yards per carry; however, they did not manage to reach the end zone via rushing plays. The longest rush was a notable run covering 35 yards.

The attendance at John O'Quinn Field reflected strong support from fans who numbered over 34 thousand despite witnessing their team trailing across all four quarters: zero points in Q1 and Q3 while matching seven points apiece in Q2 and Q4 alongside Cincinnati’s scoring efforts.

Looking ahead for Houston fans eager to support their team in future contests: The next game is scheduled on November 18th when Houston will host Oklahoma State Cowboys at John O'Quinn Field at TDECU Stadium in Texas.
