In front of an attendance of 45,466 fans, the Hoosiers managed to secure victory through consistent play across all four quarters. The home team's offense accumulated a total of 261 yards with an average gain of 3.6 yards per play. The passing game contributed significantly to this output with quarterback throwing for 186 yards and achieving a passer rating of over 122. His accuracy was on display as he completed over 61 percent of his passes including one touchdown pass that covered seven yards.

The rushing attack added another dimension to the Hoosiers' offense despite averaging just under two yards per carry. They managed to cross into the end zone once on the ground from eight yards out and earned six first downs through their running efforts.

Special teams also played their part; Indiana's kicker successfully made two field goals with his longest being from fifty yards out contributing six points towards their total score. All five kickoffs resulted in touchbacks, ensuring that Wisconsin started each drive from their twenty-five-yard line.

Defensively, Indiana forced two fumbles recovering both and recorded two sacks for seventeen lost yardage against Wisconsin's offense. Their defensive pressure was evident as they tallied six tackles for loss totaling twenty-six negative yardage for the Badgers.

On third down conversions, Indiana showed moderate efficiency converting six out of sixteen attempts while maintaining perfect records on both redzone opportunities (three out three) and fourth down conversions (one out one).

As for penalties, it was a disciplined game by both sides with only four combined penalties throughout; the Hoosiers were responsible for just thirty penalty yards on two infractions.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought win at home, fans can mark their calendars for when the Indiana Hoosiers will face off against Illinois Fighting Illini at Memorial Stadium (Champaign, IL).
