Game Highlights


The Hoosiers' offense was unstoppable, amassing a total of 510 yards. A significant portion of this came from their ground game, which contributed an impressive 222 rushing yards. The team's ability to control the pace and dictate the terms of engagement was evident as they executed six rushing touchdowns over the course of the game. On special teams, James Evans delivered an exceptional performance punting, ensuring that Charlotte started from unfavorable positions multiple times throughout the contest. His single punt traveled an impressive distance before being downed expertly inside the opponent's twenty-yard line.


Defensively, Indiana showed no mercy either. The team forced two fumbles and kept pressure on Charlotte’s offense throughout the game. Mario Landino made notable contributions by forcing one fumble while Bryson Bonds recovered another fumble for Indiana.


Player Performances


Several players had standout performances that contributed significantly to Indiana's victory. Kaelon Black showcased explosive speed and agility on his way to scoring one touchdown and accumulating over fifty-five rushing yards on just seven carries. Justice Ellison also found success against Charlotte’s defense by adding fifty-eight rushing yards and securing another touchdown for his team.


In addition to Rourke's aerial assault through passing lanes, Myles Price emerged as a versatile threat in both receiving and punt return duties; he led in receiving yardage with seventy-seven yards off three receptions while also contributing forty-four punt return yards.
