Indiana Hoosiers Dominate Michigan State Spartans with a Commanding Victory

The Indiana Hoosiers continue their undefeated streak, moving to 9-0 for the season after a commanding 47-10 victory over the Michigan State Spartans. The Spartans now stand at 4-5, struggling to find consistency this season. The game, held at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, showcased the Hoosiers' dominance on both sides of the ball.

Game Highlights


The Hoosiers' offense was unstoppable, accumulating a total of 385 yards with an impressive average gain of six yards per play. Quarterback Kurtis Rourke had an exceptional game, completing 19 out of 29 passes for 263 yards and four touchdowns. His performance was pivotal in securing the win for Indiana, demonstrating his leadership and precision on the field.


On the receiving end, Ke'Shawn Williams led with six receptions for 86 yards, providing crucial first downs and maintaining momentum for Indiana. Elijah Sarratt also made significant contributions with two touchdown receptions among his four catches totaling 59 yards.

The rushing attack added another dimension to Indiana's offense. Justice Ellison led with nine carries for 32 yards as part of a collective effort that saw seven different players contribute to a total rushing yardage of 122 and two touchdowns.


Defensive Prowess


Indiana's defense was equally impressive, stifling Michigan State's attempts to build any offensive rhythm. The defense recorded seven sacks and ten quarterback hits while limiting the Spartans to just ten points throughout the game. Mikail Kamara stood out on defense with two and a half sacks and three tackles for loss among his seven combined tackles.


Amare Ferrell made crucial plays in the secondary with two interceptions that halted Spartan drives and contributed significantly to maintaining Indiana's lead. The defensive unit as a whole forced one fumble while showcasing their tackling skills by combining for sixty-three tackles throughout the game.
