The Hawkeyes' offense was on full display as they amassed a total of 322 yards. The passing game contributed significantly with quarterback play resulting in 211 yards through the air and two touchdowns. A highlight was a remarkable 53-yard touchdown pass that electrified the crowd. On the ground, Iowa's rushing attack added another dimension to their offense, tallying up 127 yards which included an impressive longest run that broke free for an 80-yard touchdown.

Iowa's defense also played a pivotal role in securing this win by limiting Wisconsin to just seven points for the entire game. They were relentless throughout, recording two sacks and recovering one fumble while also intercepting one pass which they returned for zero yards but nonetheless stifled an offensive drive by Wisconsin.

Special teams were not left out of Iowa's comprehensive performance; field goal kickers were perfect on the day, contributing six points from two successful attempts with their longest being from 45 yards out. Additionally, kickoff units managed four touchbacks from six kickoffs totaling 361 yards.

Penalties could have been problematic as Iowa incurred six penalties amounting to fifty penalty yards; however, it did not significantly impact their control over the game.

Looking ahead after this commanding performance at home, fans can mark their calendars for another exciting game as Kinnick Stadium will host yet another matchup when Michigan Wolverines visit on December 20th. This upcoming event promises to be another great day of college football action and can be followed live from its scheduled start time at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City.
