First Quarter


The opening quarter saw Jacksonville State take an early lead, scoring 10 points against UTEP's 7. Caden Creel showcased his passing skills by connecting on a long touchdown pass to Deondre Johnson for 77 yards. This play was pivotal in setting the tone for the rest of the game.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, both teams continued to battle fiercely. The Gamecocks added another 10 points while limiting UTEP to just two field goals totaling six points.
