David Booth Memorial Stadium Hosts Kansas Jayhawks and Oklahoma State Cowboys in Football Showdown

The Kansas Jayhawks faced a challenging game at David Booth Memorial Stadium against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, ending with a 28-48 result. The Jayhawks now stand at 0-1 for the season, while the Cowboys have taken their record to 1-0.

The home team, Kansas Jayhawks, put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell short against the visiting Oklahoma State Cowboys. The game saw the Jayhawks accumulate a total of 341 yards with an average gain of nearly five yards per play. Despite this effort, they could not overcome the offensive onslaught by the Cowboys who tallied up 48 points.

On defense, Kansas managed to intercept one pass and return it for twenty-one yards but couldn't register any sacks or safeties during this encounter. Penalties were minimal as they only incurred four penalties amounting to forty-three penalty yards throughout the entire game.


As for Oklahoma State's performance on offense was strong throughout all quarters scoring fourteen points in both first and last quarters while adding ten points each in second and third quarters respectively leading them to their victory over Kansas.


Looking ahead, fans can catch The Kansas Jayhawks next facing off against West Virginia Mountaineers at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium on October sixth at noon Eastern Time broadcasted on ESPN2 network.
