The Wildcats' offense was electric throughout the game. Their passing game accumulated an impressive 306 yards with a quarterback rating of 158.23 and completed two touchdowns, one being an outstanding longest pass for 72 yards and another for a significant touchdown covering 60 yards. The rushing offense contributed effectively as well, with two touchdowns and a longest rush of 43 yards out of their total rushing yardage of 92.

Kentucky's defense was relentless in pressuring Clemson's quarterback with seven sacks totaling a loss of 35 yards for the Tigers and eight tackles for loss matching that same yardage lost. They also managed to hit Clemson's quarterback eight times during the game while recording one interception and forcing one fumble.

Special teams had moments worth noting too; Kentucky returned one kickoff for an electrifying touchdown that spanned across the entire field - exactly 100 yards - showcasing their ability to change the momentum instantly.

Despite these efforts, turnovers proved costly for Kentucky as they lost possession four times during this encounter – three fumbles (losing two) and two interceptions thrown by their quarterback. Penalties were minimal but still impactful with four penalties costing them a total of 45 yards.

The red zone efficiency stood out as perfect; every time Kentucky entered this critical area, they scored – twice on ground plays which speaks volumes about their offensive line performance when it mattered most.
