First Quarter

The game began with promise for the Wildcats as they took an early lead. Kentucky's kicker Jacob Kauwe was instrumental, successfully converting two field goals, including one from 42 yards. The Big Blue defense also showed resilience early on, limiting South Carolina to just one touchdown in this period.

Second Quarter

However, things took a turn for the worse in the second quarter. The Cocks capitalized on several opportunities and scored three touchdowns without reply from Kentucky. Cutter Boley struggled under pressure from South Carolina's defense and threw two interceptions during this period.

Third Quarter

In an attempt to regain momentum after halftime, Seth McGowan managed to score a rushing touchdown for Kentucky. Despite his efforts and accumulating 112 rushing yards overall, it wasn't enough to close the gap significantly as both defenses held firm throughout most of this quarter.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw another touchdown by South Carolina that sealed their victory convincingly over Kentucky. Tavion Gadson stood out defensively for Big Blue with notable tackles but couldn't prevent further scoring by their opponents.
