The Liberty Flames showcased their offensive might with a total of 591 yards gained throughout the game. Their passing game was particularly effective, with an impressive completion percentage of about 70 percent for a total of 353 yards and four touchdowns. The longest pass completed was for 55 yards, contributing significantly to their first down count which stood at fourteen by game's end.

On the ground, the Flames were just as dominant. They rushed for a total of 238 yards on thirty-eight attempts, averaging over six yards per carry. This relentless rushing attack resulted in three touchdowns, including one remarkable run that spanned fifty-seven yards into the end zone.

Special teams also played their part; field goal kickers were flawless with a perfect success rate on all attempts including one from twenty yards out. Kickoff units managed to place half of their nine kicks into the end zone for touchbacks while return units added nineteen more yards to Liberty's overall yardage tally.

Defensively, Liberty held strong against Old Dominion's offense throughout four quarters. They forced two fumbles and recovered both while also recording one sack and five tackles for loss which contributed to limiting Old Dominion's scoring opportunities.

Penalties could have been problematic but were kept relatively under control by both teams; however it is worth noting that six penalties were called against Liberty resulting in fifty-eight penalty-yards assessed against them.

The upcoming schedule sees Liberty traveling away from home as they prepare to face off against Army Black Knights at Michie Stadium in West Point on September eighteenth at noon local time (4 PM UTC).
