From the opening quarter, the Liberty Flames set the tone with an impressive display of both rushing and passing. The quarterback's arm was pivotal as he completed 14 out of 26 passes for a total of 295 yards. His performance included four touchdown passes and an exceptional passer rating rounded to 192. Notably, one pass connected for a remarkable longest touchdown distance of 64 yards.

The ground game complemented the aerial assault effectively. The Flames rushed for a collective total of 233 yards on 35 attempts which translated into three more touchdowns; their longest rush broke free for an impressive distance capped at a touchdown run from 35 yards out.

Special teams also contributed to this comprehensive victory. A field goal from beyond forty-three yards added three points to their tally while kickoffs were strategically placed resulting in four touchbacks and two kicks landing inside the twenty-yard line.

Defensively, Liberty was just as formidable. They sacked Eastern Michigan's quarterback four times for losses totaling twenty-five yards and recorded seven hits on him during play progression. Additionally, they managed to intercept one pass which was returned all the way back for another touchdown covering twenty-seven yards.

Eastern Michigan Eagles did manage some resistance despite being overwhelmed by their opponents' might. They scored twenty points over four quarters but failed to find consistency against Liberty's defense which only allowed them six penalties amounting to forty-eight penalty yards.

As fans look forward to future games broadcasted from Hancock Whitney Stadium or elsewhere featuring their beloved team, they can reflect on this commanding performance by Liberty Flames who demonstrated superior execution across all phases – offense, defense and special teams – securing them this resounding victory over Eastern Michigan Eagles.
