Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium to Host Louisville Cardinals and Duke Blue Devils in College Football Face-Off

As the Louisville Cardinals prepare to face off against the Duke Blue Devils at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium, fans are eager to see if their team can carry forward the momentum from their dominant performance on November 13. The Cardinals' recent victory over Syracuse Orange by a staggering 41-3 scoreline was a showcase of their offensive prowess and defensive solidity.

Duke Blue Devils VS Louisville Cardinals

The Cardinals' offense was firing on all cylinders, with an average gain of 7.1 yards per play and a total yardage of 382. Their rushing game was particularly effective, averaging over 5 yards per carry and securing one touchdown. The passing game also contributed significantly with four touchdowns, highlighting the balanced attack that could pose a serious threat to the Blue Devils' defense.

Defensively, LOU showed they could stifle their opponents by limiting Syracuse to just three points. With four sacks totaling a loss of 39 yards for Syracuse and forcing one fumble without turning over the ball themselves, LOU's defense proved it could disrupt plays and create opportunities for its offense.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing in previous games for LOU. In their encounter with Clemson Tigers on November 6th where they lost narrowly by six points (24-30), penalties seemed to be an issue as they racked up seven for a total of fifty-three penalty yards which could have been decisive in such a close contest.

Looking ahead to the upcoming game against Duke, it's crucial that LOU maintains discipline while replicating their aggressive play style from both sides of the ball seen in recent performances. Given that they managed seventeen first downs through rushing alone across two games indicates that this might be an area where they can exploit Duke's defense.

Duke will certainly not make things easy for Louisville; playing at home gives them an advantage that cannot be overlooked. However, based on recent form and statistics from past games this season – especially considering how well-rounded LOU appeared against Syracuse – there is reason for optimism among Cardinal fans.

The scheduled kickoff is set for November 19th at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham at 7:30 PM EST. Fans who cannot make it to North Carolina can catch all the action live on ESPN satellite channel number two hundred six.
