First Quarter

The opening quarter set the tone for LSU's defensive prowess. The Bayou Bengals quickly established control with an early touchdown, putting them ahead 7-0. Their defense was relentless, preventing any scoring opportunities for Tech and showcasing their ability to stifle offensive plays.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams struggled offensively as defenses tightened on both sides. However, LSU managed to extend their lead with a field goal by Damian Ramos, who successfully converted three out of four attempts throughout the game. This left them leading 10-0 at halftime.

Third Quarter

LSU's defense continued its dominance in the third quarter, highlighted by linebacker Whit Weeks contributing significantly with half a sack and multiple tackles. The Tigers added another touchdown during this period through Garrett Nussmeier's precise passing that found Nic Anderson in the end zone.

Fourth Quarter

Despite being down 17 points entering the fourth quarter, Louisiana Tech finally broke through LSU’s defense for their only touchdown of the game. However, it was too little too late as another field goal from Ramos sealed a comfortable win for Geaux Tigers.

The match saw standout performances from several players on both sides; however, it was undoubtedly defined by LSU’s defensive efforts that limited Tech’s scoring chances effectively throughout most of this encounter.
