First Quarter

The game kicked off with the Aggies taking an early lead, scoring 14 points against the Tigers' 7. The Bayou Bengals managed to put points on the board thanks to a touchdown pass from Garrett Nussmeier. However, their defense struggled to contain Texas A&M's offense.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, LSU showed resilience by adding 11 points to their tally while keeping the Aggies scoreless. Notable plays included Harold Perkins' interception and Damian Ramos converting a field goal attempt from 30 yards out. Despite these efforts, LSU's offensive line faced pressure throughout.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw Texas A&M dominate with three touchdowns while shutting out LSU completely. The Geaux Tigers' defense was unable to stop key plays by the Aggies, who capitalized on turnovers and extended their lead significantly.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter of play, both teams added two touchdowns each. Michael Van Buren Jr., stepping in for Nussmeier briefly, threw a touchdown pass that highlighted his potential as an emerging talent for LSU. Yet again though it was not enough as Texas A&M maintained control over possession and sealed their victory.

Despite standout performances from players like Aaron Anderson with his receiving yards and Tamarcus Cooley's defensive tackles, it wasn't enough for LSU to overcome their opponents’ strong showing in this encounter.
